Wear and Tear Policy

Everything you need to know about how we handle wear and tear on parts, attachments, and equipment.

General Terms

Normal wear during your rental is expected and will not considered damage by Rubbl. Equipment owners should consider the cost of replacing wearable items and adjust their rental rate accordingly. Examples of such items include, but are not restricted to, cutting edges, teeth, tires, and tracks. If the items show signs of excessive wear and tear, suggesting they have been abused or misused, it will be regarded as damage. In such cases, the renter will be held accountable for the repair or replacement of these components.

Inspections

Both the owner and the renter are required to conduct inspections which record the condition of the equipment including wearable items. These inspections will be used by a Rubbl Service Manager to differentiate between normal and excessive wear. Rubbl has the ultimate authority in determining excessive wear and damage.
